Yesterday I was very excited to see my picture of kakashi get so many views and comments and favorites ^^ I wasn't expecting such a great reaction to my art. But I got a lot of questions about how I became "famous" so quickly and I'm still confused. In the morning when I posted it got 3 comments and 10 or 15 favorites, but when I came back later it had over a hundred favorites and comments! I didn't understand what happened but some people's comments said that they had found the picture by searching for kakashi and other people said they saw it in "popular". I don't know how it got there with 10 or 15 favorites when there are other pictures with hundreds or thousands of favorites. I think there's a glitch in the website and I just got very lucky ^^; If it was a glitch then I'm still really glad that so many people saw my art and liked it! I hope you will like it in the future too :hug:

edit- I read the link that hizuki sent me here [link] and I guess this is just deviantart's system for ranking pictures. It says my picture got more "rank points" or something because of the category. I was careless with choosing a category for my picture, because I didn't really think it mattered. I thought "skins" was a category for people since there was an anthro category too, I'll try to be more careful next time since it's such a big deal.

PS- what is skins? ^^;

heh, you're very VERY lucky to get that many pageviews in just like 2 days. even that many comments AND favorites~ not even I can even dream of that many pageviews and comments, and favorites combined. : P

Actually you just happened to join dA when they are configurating the new "popular" system. It used to be really hard for new people like you to get notice that quickly. But now with the new rating system, everyone gets fair exposure.

I don't know if you can call yourself sort of speak. I've been reading quite a few famous great artist's journals, which lead me to your dA. Quite a few of them are pissed at the new system, and has called out your dA in particular (also hence why I noticed) and you unfortunately became the center of drama without knowing...=(

It's like in one day you gain a lot of friends, but the popularity also gain you a lot of enemies =(

well, as you get more popular, you're probably gonna have some enemies. just block 'em, and continue you're art. i also suggest putting a signature on it to help with art theft. the more popular you are, the more likely you will get you're art stolen x__x

They're trying a new system which people are new and don't have watchers will get into the popular section, and the art you draw is from a popular series here. So once you entered the popular section you have the chance to hit the front page.

I'm suppose you won't get into the drama.
Because there are fans of naruto but also haters who are sick of naruto fanartsout there.
